About Peter Maz
I’m Peter Maz, owner of Raven Technology Solutions and a lifelong New Port Richey local. I have been fixing electronics for about 18 years, starting long before it became my profession. Today, I bring more than 10 years of professional technology experience to the customers I serve.
A lifelong curiosity about how technology works
When I was around eight years old, I started taking apart, breaking, and trying to repair the family computer before my parents noticed. That curiosity grew through computer classes in middle and high school, where I realized technology could become a career. By high school, I was repairing my own phones, game consoles, and computers, helping friends with theirs, and finding broken electronics to bring back to life.
Before I officially worked in IT, I was often the person friends, neighbors, and coworkers called when they had a computer, network, or device problem. As a teenager living in a 55+ community, I regularly helped neighbors with technology issues and everyday problems. That experience taught me something I still believe: people deserve support that is patient, respectful, and easy to understand.
Professional IT, networking, and cybersecurity experience
I hold an Associate Degree in Networking with a specialization in Cybersecurity. My professional background includes working for a local managed service provider supporting telecommunications services, and I currently work in cybersecurity for a Fortune 100 company. I bring the practical troubleshooting, documentation, and security-minded habits from those roles to every Raven Technology Solutions project.
Hands-on repair and technology support
My experience covers a wide range of technology. Over the years, I have repaired computers, phones, game consoles, controllers, and other electronics. My current repair services focus on computers, laptops, tablets, game consoles, controllers, 3D printers, and other agreed electronics. I also perform console and controller customizations, build custom PCs around each customer’s needs and budget, and design and troubleshoot networks for homes and businesses.
For home technology, I help customers set up and connect TVs, speakers, multimedia systems, smart devices, and the Wi-Fi or network equipment that keeps everything working together. My business technology experience includes computer and network support, office printer and scanner maintenance, professional photo printers, multimedia printing equipment used for items such as clothing designs, and point-of-sale systems in retail and restaurant environments. I have performed work supporting major national businesses while also helping local customers with the technology they use every day.
I got into 3D printer repair after a friend asked me to fix theirs. I quickly found that the troubleshooting skills I had built through electronics and IT applied there too. What keeps it interesting is seeing what people create and knowing I helped make those projects possible. I have independent service experience with 3D printers from brands including Bambu Lab, Creality, ELEGOO, Prusa, and Robo.
Why I started Raven Technology Solutions
I started Raven Technology Solutions to bring practical IT knowledge, security-minded habits, and clear one-on-one support to people who need help without the confusion, pressure, or high cost that can come with larger service providers.
I know technology problems can be personal, stressful, and sometimes tied to difficult circumstances. I am comfortable working with customers on sensitive issues and aim to treat every situation with discretion, respect, and no judgment. When cost is part of the challenge, I am willing to discuss practical options and help prioritize the work that matters most. I will be honest about what is worth repairing and help you choose the path that makes the most sense.
Patient help that builds confidence
I enjoy fixing the immediate problem, but I especially enjoy showing people how to avoid it next time. Whether I am helping with a computer, home network, TV or audio setup, smart device, custom PC, business device, POS system, game console, or 3D printer, my goal is to explain what happened in plain language and give you the confidence to use your technology more effectively.
Customers often tell me that I am honest, easy to talk to, patient, and never judgmental. That is how I want every customer to feel: comfortable asking questions, clear on their options, and confident in the solution.
